3 Tips to Boost your Productivity and Skyrocket your Motivation.

uccessful people don't worry about motivation.

Why?

They continuously work on improving their productivity.

Nothing succeeds like success. If you are in the habit of succeeding, you will continue to succeed.  And if you aren't in the habit of succeeding, then the answer is to work on your productivity.

By definition, productive people get a lot done.   They are disciplined people who persistently focus on their goals. As a result, they make continuous progress toward them.  Even when faced with setbacks, productive people usually have the drive to deal with the difficulty and move on.

Consistently making progress towards your goals is motivating in and of itself.   You don't allow yourself to get distracted because your successful efforts keep you absorbed.  You remain confident and empowered because you are seeing results.

Here are 3 tips you can use to keep up your motivation and boost   your productivity to ensure that you continue to stay on the road to success.

1.  Use good time management practices.

To enhance your productivity, use good time management practices. Make a list of all the tasks that need to be completed. Prioritize them. Every evening, decide on the three most important tasks that need to be done the following day.  Tackle them one by one before you take on any other work that day.

Create   routines.  Have checklists for daily routines and standard operating procedures for recurrent patterns of work.  Group similar activities together.  Remain alert to ways you can streamline your routines.

2.           Eliminate distractions.

Take a break from social media.  Quite often social media can leave you under the illusion that you are busy and doing a lot of work. Periodically turn off Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, and all the rest and just step back and answer the following question:

Are you actually being productive?

Set a goal and time limit in terms of how you use these internet tools.
If possible, block your time: keep all your phone and email communications to pre-determined times of the day.  Perhaps you can take care of them in two or three bursts scheduled throughout the day.

If it's necessary for you to be available by email and phone throughout the day, be sure to use your business emails and phone numbers only for business.  Keep your personal phone and email for personal use and limit their use to specific times during the day or even after work.

Avoid multi-tasking.  You may think that multi-tasking saves time, but it does not. It's distracting, and in the long run, time-consuming. It wastes time and can cause errors and incomplete tasks. The fact is that staying focused and bringing a task to completion is far more productive and reinforcing of your success.   Get out of the habit of multi-tasking and get focused instead.

3.           Learn and work with your body's rhythms.

Are you a morning or an evening person? Do you experience a slump in the middle of the afternoon?  Make it easy on yourself and respect our body rhythms.  Schedule your brainwork for the times of day when you are most alert.

Don't forget to maintain your energy by taking regular breaks every 90 minutes or so.  Get up and walk about a bit, do some burpees, jumping jacks or lunges just to keep your blood circulating.  While you're at it, drink plenty of water.  Nothing kills your energy and brain power like dehydration.
Struggling to succeed and improve your motivation? Then use these three powerful tips to change the game.   When you become energized, enthusiastic, focused, and inspired, nothing will get in the way of your productivity.  You will most surely and powerfully move in the direction of your goals, which in turn can only boost your levels of   motivation, thereby elevating you toward the "rock star" success you  desire.
